policies and practices, please do not use the Service.

Matched Users: When you match with someone, they can see your full profile and you can
communicate through chat, voice, and video.

affect matching functionality.

You can control which notifications you receive through the app settings or device settings.
5.4 Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time through app settings > Delete Account. When you delete
your account:
- Your profile and personal data are removed from our servers
- Your matches and chat history are deleted
- Your verification status is revoked
- Unused gems are forfeited
Note: Deletion may not be immediate for technical and legal reasons (backups, legal
holds). Some anonymized data may be retained for analytics.
5.5 Data Portability
You can request a copy of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@dsayah.com. We will provide your
data in a common, machine-readable format.
5.6 Marketing Communications
You can opt out of promotional emails and push notifications at any time. You cannot opt out of
service-related communications (security alerts, account notifications).
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.
Specific retention periods:
- Active accounts: Retained until you delete your account
- Deleted accounts: Most data deleted within 30 days, some backups may persist for up
to 90 days
- Chat messages: Deleted when you delete your account or delete specific
conversations
- Purchase records: Retained for legal and accounting purposes (up to 7 years)
- Abuse reports: Retained for safety and legal purposes
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information,
including:
- Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest
- Secure authentication (OTP, OAuth)
- Regular security assessments
- Access controls and authentication for internal systems
- Firebase security rules to protect user data
However: No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100%
secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
8. Children's Privacy
Dsayah is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it
immediately.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence,
including the United States (where our service providers like Firebase and Agora are based).
These countries may have different data protection laws. By using Dsayah, you consent to the transfer of
your information to these countries.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Google, Apple). We are
not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy
policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the app
- Sending a push notification or email
- Requiring you to accept the updated policy to continue using the Service
The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised.
